2. Different classification
Golden velvet is divided into ground warp and ground weft, all of which are mulberry silk, but the velvet warp uses light viscose silk.
Different velvet yarns can be divided into warp velveteen and pseudo velveteen. According to the length of the fluff, it is divided into train velveteen and mercerized velveteen, and the train velveteen is longer.
3. Different texture
Golden velvet is soft and elastic in texture, soft in color and well woven with fluff, so it belongs to silk fabric.
Warp velveteen is a double-layer fabric made of ground warp yarn and pile warp yarn plus weft yarn. After cut pile, it becomes two single-layer warp velveteen with smooth pile.
